Vito Gannucci and his wife, Anciata.

It all started when...

At the age of 27, my Great-Grandfather Vito Gannucci, along with his wife and children, arrived in the US from Boiano, Italy, via Naples, Italy, on September 30, 1908. They made their way to Hibbing, MN and he worked at the Stevenson Mine. He eventually made his way to Duluth and lived at 318 S 60th Ave West.
Gannucci’s was originally established in 1976 as Conito’s Italian Village. In 2011, the name was changed to honor our great-grandfather Vito Gannucci.
Gannucci’s serves pizza, spaghetti dinners, lasagna, hot and cold sandwiches, San Pellegrino and espresso. A large selection of imported Italian products with a great atmosphere to relax in. Ask us about hosting your next group event too.
We take reservations and walk-ins are welcome! Our location is group and kid friendly. We offer take out, catering, delivery and waiter service.
